Soroptimist International of Perth hosted a concert at
Raemond Jappy, violinist and winner of the Glenfiddich Fiddle Championship and Maureen Rutherford, pianist, former Director of Music for the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, entertained guests with a variety of traditional Scottish music, including "David Murdoch of Methven Castle", which was composed by Douglas Lawrence. All profits, of approximately £800.00, were for the charity, Mary's Meals.
